Cruise & Maritime Voyages

Cruise & Maritime Voyages has been operating for six years in Australia and is the leading independent cruise line offering a traditional, boutique cruise experience and exceptional value. Next year marks the company’s 10th anniversary. Over this time the cruise line has become known for its relaxed, convivial ambience, exacting standards and high levels of attentive personal service.

The fleet comprises of the five small to mid-sized ships with the charming Astor winning the hearts of cruise lovers around the region. Known for her classic styling and warm, country-club ambiance, the Astor carries just 550 guests in 289 cabins and has built an enviable reputation for traditional boutique cruising in both Australia and overseas.

At 21,000 tonnes, she noses into harbours off-limits to many of the larger ships and offers sensational cuisine and a range of beverages in four dining venues and two lounges. As well as an indoor and outdoor pool, guests can enjoy a gym, state of the art spa and an expansive sports deck. Guests can also relish spectacular cabaret style entertainment in the Astor Show Lounge, relax in the onboard library or indulge their competitive side in the card room.

CMV offers a range of exciting itineraries around Australia, as well as through Asia, South America, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe, visiting Iceland, Greenland, the Baltics, Norwegian Fjords, Northern Lights, British Isles and more. CMV will be launching their new ship Vasco da Gama in 2019.

Trips vary from 40 nights to 120 nights, but a world cruise allows you to really explore in ways you cannot on a shorter trip. You’ll be able to see the sunny Caribbean, journey along the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean and experience the vibrancy of exotic destinations all in one trip. It’s a stress-free way of reaching destinations that are further afield and for those that don’t like to fly; it is the perfect way to see the world. You also have the added benefit of no jet lag because you gradually lose time, or gain it, depending on which way around the world you go. It’s also an incredibly safe option, especially for solo travellers.

A cruising holiday is simply like no other, combining the fascination of lazy days at sea, great food and entertainment, making new friendships, ever-changing vistas and visiting new places. It gives a unique sense of exploration and discovery experienced in the civilised comforts of today. Where else can you find a holiday where you will visit lots of different places and your hotel moves with you. No packing, no hassle, no worries!

For many, circumnavigating the globe by ship is a lifelong ambition, and CMV offer exceptional prices and generous inclusions which allows many to realise this dream!
